Bluffton, SC (October 29, 2021)
The Krueger Hat Trick Foundation is a charity in memory of Aiden Krueger. Aiden was a triplet and a Heart Warrior who passed away after his 2.5-year battle with Congenital Heart Defect/Disease. He was a strong little boy who inspired so many. The KHT Foundation raises money to fund research for congenital heart defects, as well as provides hope to Heart Families through comfort kits, financial aid, and soulful experiences to both Heart Warriors and those bereaved families. The goal of the Krueger Hat Trick Foundation is to ensure no one walks the Heart Journey alone.
Every year nearly 40,000 babies are born with Congenital Heart Defect/Disease, which is nearly 110 children per day. Despite these numbers, CHDs are not widely known about and research is underfunded.
On October 29, 2021 Fraser Construction sponsored the first annual Bluffton Krueger Hat Trick Foundation Fundraiser at Oyster Park in historic downtown Bluffton, South Carolina. With over 150 people in attendance, the event raised enough funds to donate over $18,000 to the Krueger Hat Trick Foundation. Attendees were able to purchase raffle tickets for items such as a stay at the Bohemian Hotel in Savannah, Georgia, luxury golf packages, fine dining experiences, and more. Guests also enjoyed fresh May River oysters and entertainment from the Lowcountry Boil Band.
The success of the event was largely due to sponsorship from 28 generous companies. Fraser Construction and the Krueger Hat Trick Foundation would like to thank all of those who made this event a great success but would especially like to acknowledge:
- Coastal Pipe & Fire Solutions
- Bay Hill Construction
- Vaux Marscher Berglind
- Master Steel Fabrication Erection
- Genesis Construction
- Southern Palmetto Landscape
- Superior Heating & Air
- Healy & Foreit, LLC
The Foundation will announce the date for the 2022 fundraiser in the first part of the new year. To learn more about the Krueger Hat Trick Foundation, please visit their website at https://www.thekht.org/.
