| This 34,000
sq. ft. building is located overlooking the May River. The building includes
the Inn's main dining room, bar, dining porch, wine cellar, gift shop, guest
services, administration offices and kitchen. The building frame is a
combination of cast-in-place concrete foundation, structural steel columns and
beams, concrete on steel deck floors and wood framed walls and roof. The
exterior finishes are brick foundation and steps, painted cypress siding with
wood louver accents, large custom wood windows and a copper standing seam roof.
Interior finishes include heart pine wood, stone and tile floors, custom
painted and stained millwork, and a heavy timber framed ceiling at the banquet
room. |
