Daufuskie Island embarkation station

CONSTRUCTED VALUE: $216,000
CONTRACT DATE: September 2007
ARCHITECT: Dawson Wissmach Architects

This river front project is a renovation of a 1790's cotton warehouse. Upon removing remnants of over 200 years of previous tenants, the beauty of the three foot thick brick and stone walls and aged timber framing was revealed. Custon mahogany entrance doors, handcrafted trim and flagstone pavers provide a majestic, attractive storefront. The new heart pine floors, colonial interior moldings, maple cabinetry and granite countertops provide a harmonious blend of contemporary business decor with a respect for it's historic past.
