The Canoe Club is a 10,000 sq. ft. combined bar and restaurant with canoe storage and is located overlooking the May River in Palmetto Bluff. The building frame is a combination of cast-in-place concrete foundation, structural steel columns and beams, concrete on steel deck floors and wood framed walls and roof. The exterior finishes are cypress siding, copper standing seam roof and a dining porch with ipea floor and a stainless steel railing resembling a yacht deck. Interior finishes include an arched ceiling resembling an upside down boat hull, teak floors and custom millwork.
